This is a website about cookery and the skills that you need to know, to be a chef.

In the "About me" section there is a little intro about myself saying what I have done and what I'am doing at the moment.

You can look for your favourite recipes and even add some of your own if you want to. There's a variety of recipes including all kinds of vegetarian dishes, the recipes will state if they are gluten free, vegetarian or if there are any allergy risks in the recipes.

Every week I will try and get a recipe in the "Recipe of the week" and change it at the end of each week too (every Sunday). This week it is Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms, so I hope you enjoy it.

Chicken
If you are allergic or you want to know about allergies then this is the page for you, it gives you brief discriptions about each allergy, how to deal with it and what to use instead e.g. Margarine with nut oil in it, use other fats that don't have any trace of nuts in them because even a small amount can harm a person who has a nut allergy.
Fish Flour
I have a student page that helps you with things that you might need to know, like what you should have in your cupboards and soon there will be a section that will have quick and easy recipes and they should also be cheap too.

If you want to know about healthy eating then you can get all your information from here it tells you all about the bad foods and all the foods that are healthy to eat. It gives you all the information that you need for your assignments (for your GCSE's or college work).

Theres a new section on aChristmas menu if you fancy a look there's a menu and you can either do the full menu or choose the easiest one out of the sections, they link you to all the recipes that are in the web-site, so you don't have to check it out for yourselves.

Every month I will be stocking up the "Hints & Tips". There is helpful ways to guide you around the kitchen, doing things before hand so there ready before you need them i.e. freezing sliced lemons so when unexpected guests arrive you've got ice and a slice for cold drinks.

Tricks of the trade is basically everything that is to do with basic sauces, basic stocks and how to do things like cut up a chicken.

The glossary tells you all about culinary terms, so if you wanted to know what Botulism is then all you need to do is click on the "glossary" button and then search for B and then it will be there or you could even look for Chateaubriand and it will have a brief description about it. It could be in French or English and it will probably find it, it just depends on if I've put it down, if you want to know something and I haven't got it down then please ask me because I might know it, just email me and I will get back to you a.s.a.p. or if you can't email me then leave a message in the guestbook and I will send you a reply.

If you want to convert grams into ounces then goto the metric conversion table section it has it all in a chart, so you can tell what is grams, ounces, pints and litres if it only shows one and not the other measurements in the recipes. I have know put a conversion for cups if you need it.

There's also a temperature chart, so you can do conversions on that too.

On the links page there's different web-sites and groups that you can visit if you want to. There all to do with the subject cooking.

So that is the end of the introduction, if you would like to look through the rest of it then please do so and if you find anything interesting then please tell me in my guestbook.
